Insist that each repair order list your complaint in your words, mileage in and out, dates the vehicle was in the shop, parts replaced, diagnostic codes, and whether the problem was verified or could not be duplicated. “Could not duplicate” visits still count toward your timeline if you have video or repeat visits showing the defect. Never leave without a signed copy.
